পদ্মা বিভাগ, আইইএবি।
০৪ (চার) টি শিল্প বিভাগ এবং ১০ (দশ) টি সাধারণ বিভাগ মোট ১৪ (চৌদ্দ) টি সাংগঠনিক বিভাগের মাধ্যমে সমগ্র বাংলাদেশ ব্যাপী আইইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম পরিব্যাপ্ত / পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। আইইএবি এর ১০ (দশ) টি সাধারণ সাংগঠনিক বিভাগের মধ্যে পদ্মা বিভাগ আইইএবি এর অন্যতম ০১ (এক) টি সাধারণ সাংগঠনিক বিভাগ।
আইইএবি এর ১৪ ( চৌদ্দ) টি সাংগঠনিক বিভাগে আইইএবি এর জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল থেকে ০১ ( এক ) জন করে সদস্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন। সেই মোতাবেক, পদ্মা বিভাগের জন্য জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল থেকে ০১ ( এক ) জন সদস্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন। পদ্মা বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য এবং পদ্মা বিভাগের ০৫( পাচঁ) টি সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো থেকে নির্বাচিত কাউন্সিলরগণের সমন্বয়ে পদ্মা বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটি (Divisional Committee) গঠিত হয়েছে / হবে। কাউন্সিলরদের মধ্যে একজন চীফ কাউন্সিলর থাকবে। পদ্মা বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য পদ্মা বিভাগীয় কমিটির সভাপতির ভুমিকা পালন করবেন এবং পদ্মা বিভাগের চীফ / প্রধান কাউন্সিলর পদ্মা বিভাগীয় কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদকের ভুমিকা পালন করবেন। পদ্মা বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটির সদস্য সংখ্যা ০৬ (ছয়) জন। উল্লেখ্য যে, পদ্মা বিভাগের সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম বিশেষ তদারকি ও ত্বরান্বিত করতে আইইএবি এর জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি থেকে ০১ ( এক) জন সদস্য বিশেষ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন / থাকবেন। আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি থেকে পদ্মা বিভাগের জন্য প্রথম বিশেষ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত সদস্য হলেন প্রকৌঃ মেহেদী হাসান।
পদ্মা বিভাগ সাংগঠনিকভাবে সংগঠিত একটি বিভাগ। রোটাঃ প্রকৌঃ এ, কে, আজাদ পদ্মা বিভাগ থেকে নির্বাচিত /মনোনীত প্রথম প্রেসিডিয়াম মেম্বার এবং প্রকৌঃ মোঃ কামরুজ্জামান লাভলু পদ্মা বিভাগ থেকে নির্বাচিত / মনোনীত প্রথম চীফ কাউন্সিলর। প্রকৌঃ মোঃ কামরুজ্জামান (লাভলু), প্রকৌঃ তরুন কুমার সিকদার, প্রকৌঃ মোঃ খালিদ মাহমুদ, প্রকৌঃ মোঃ ইলিয়াছ হোসেন এবং প্রকৌঃ মোঃ ইমদাদ হোসেন মিয়া হলো আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে পদ্মা বিভাগের বিভিন্ন কাঠামো থেকে নির্বাচিত / মনোনীত প্রথম কাউন্সিলর। আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে আইইএবি এর ওয়েবসাইট কন্টেন্ট ডেভেলপমেন্ট কমিটির নির্বাচিত / মনোনীত সদস্য সচিব (প্রকৌঃ মোঃ সালাউদ্দিন আহমেদ) হলেন এই পদ্মা বিভাগ, আইইএবি এর একজন গর্বিত সদস্য।
পদ্মা বিভাগ বাংলাদেশের একটি প্রশাসনিক বিভাগ। ঢাকা বিভাগ থেকে আলাদা হয়ে ফরিদপুর, গোপালগঞ্জ, রাজবাড়ী, শরীয়তপুর ও মাদারীপুর এই পাঁচটি জেলা নিয়ে পদ্মা বিভাগ গঠিত হয়। যার সদর দপ্তর ফরিদপুর। পদ্মা বিভাগ গঙ্গাঋদ্ধি নামক প্রাচীন রাজ্যের অধীনে ছিল। মুঘল আমলে এই এলাকা ফাতেহাবাদ সরকার নামে সুপরিচিত ছিল। ২০১৫ সালের ২৬ জানুয়ারি মন্ত্রিসভার এক বৈঠকে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা ঢাকা বিভাগ থেকে আলাদা করে বৃহত্তর ফরিদপুর অঞ্চল নিয়ে পদ্মা বিভাগ গঠনের বিষয়ে আলোচনা করেন ও এই বিষয়ে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নিতে নির্দেশ প্রদান করেন। পরবর্তীতে ২২ অক্টোবর ২০১৯ সালে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠিত প্রশাসনিক পুনর্বিন্যাস সংক্রান্ত জাতীয় বাস্তবায়ন কমিটির (নিকার) সভায় পদ্মা নামে নতুন বিভাগ গঠনের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা হয়।
১৯৪৭ এর পর পাকিস্তান শাসনামলে বাংলাদেশেকে যে ২৩ টি জেলায় ভাগ করা হয় তার মধ্যে একটি ছিল ফরিদপুর। পরবর্তিতে বাংলাদেশ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর ১৯৮৪ সালে জেলা পুনর্বিন্যাসের ফলে বৃহত্তর ফরিদপুর ভেঙে ৫ টি জেলায় রুপান্তরিত করা হয়। যেমনঃ- ফরিদপুর সদর, রাজবাড়ী, গোপালগঞ্জ, মাদারীপুর ও শরীয়তপুর।
বাংলাদেশের স্থপতি হাজার বছরের শ্রেষ্ট বাঙ্গালী জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মজিবর রহমানের জন্ম এই পদ্মা বিভাগের গোপালগঞ্জ জেলার টুঙ্গিপাড়ায়। ইতিহাস বলে; বঙ্গবন্ধু মানেই বাংলাদেশ এবং বাংলাদেশ মানেই বঙ্গবন্ধু। বঙ্গবন্ধুর জন্মভিটা পদ্মা বিভাগে হওয়ায় পদ্মা বিভাগ সমৃদ্ধ হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশের স্থপতি ও বাংলাদেশের প্রথম রাষ্ট্রপতি শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের সমাধিসৌধটি বঙ্গবন্ধুর জন্মস্থান গোপালগঞ্জ জেলার টুঙ্গিপাড়ায় অবস্থিত। ১৯৭৫ সালে শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানকে হত্যার পর তাকে টুঙ্গিপাড়ায় সমাহিত করা হয়।
বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মজিবর রহমান বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ফরিদপুর ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ, ফরিদপুর মেডিকেল কলেজ, শেখ রেহানা টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ, ফরিদপুর পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউট সহ অনেক নতুন ও প্রাচীন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান পদ্মা বিভাগে রয়েছে।
শিল্প ও পর্যটন ক্ষেত্রে সম্ভাবনাময় পদ্মা বিভাগঃ স্বপ্নের পদ্মা সেতু চালু হওয়ার পর থেকে মাদারীপুরের শিবচরসহ আশপাশের এলাকা এখন কর্মব্যস্ত জনপদে পরিণত হয়েছে। পদ্মা সেতুর ল্যান্ডিং পয়েন্ট জাজিরার নাওডোবায় শেখ হাসিনা তাঁত পল্লী স্থাপিত হচ্ছে এবং শিবচর টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ স্থাপিত হচ্ছে। শিবচর ইউনিয়নে বিসিক শিল্প নগরী স্থাপনের জন্য ৪০০ একর জায়গা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে । অত্যাধুনিক মুজিব ইন্টারন্যাশনাল কনভেনশন সেন্টার হচ্ছে পদ্মা সেতুর পাশেই। এছাড়া বঙ্গমাতা শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব নার্সিং ইনস্টিটিউট এন্ড কলেজ, ইনস্টিটিউট অব হেলথ এন্ড টেকনোলজি, জুডিশিয়াল একাডেমি, সাইন্স সিটি, অলিম্পিক ভিলেজ, শিশু পার্ক, ইনডোর স্টেডিয়াম ও সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্র নির্মাণাধীন।
পদ্মা সেতু চালু হওয়ায় অনেক স্থানেই গড়ে উঠেছে রেস্টুরেন্ট, হোটেল, মোটেলসহ বিলাসবহুল বিভিন্ন বাণিজ্যিক প্রতিষ্ঠান। বেসরকারিভাবে শিল্পপ্রতিষ্ঠান, বিনোদনকেন্দ্র। নির্মাণের জন্য অনেক উদ্যোক্তা ইতোমধ্যে জাজিরায় জমি ক্রয় করে তাদের কাঙ্খিত প্রতিষ্ঠান নির্মাণের পরিকল্পনা শুরু করেছেন। পদ্মা সেতুকে ঘিরে ইতোমধ্যেই পর্যটন কেন্দ্রে রূপ নিয়েছে শরীয়তপুরের জাজিরার পদ্মাপাড়। দেশী-বিদেশী পর্যটকদের জন্য অন্যতম পছন্দের স্থান হয়ে উঠছে পদ্মা সেতু এলাকা। পদ্মা সেতুকে ঘিরে জাজিরায় জেগে উঠছে সম্ভাবনাময় পর্যটন শিল্প।
ফরিদপুর চিনি কল লিমিটেড বাংলাদেশের ফরিদপুর জেলায় অবস্থিত দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমাঞ্চলের একমাত্র ভারী শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠান। এটি বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম প্রধান একটি চিনি কল। বাংলাদেশের মধ্যাঞ্চলের পদ্মা বিভাগের ফরিদপুর জেলার মধুখালী উপজেলায় ঢাকা-খুলনা মহাসড়ক এর সামান্য উত্তর দিকে এই শিল্প কমপ্লেক্সটি অবস্থিত।
পদ্মা নদীর উপর বহুল প্রত্যাশিত স্বপ্নের পদ্মা সেতু জন-সাধারণের জন্য উন্মুক্ত হওয়ায় শিল্পায়নের দ্রুত বিকাশ হচ্ছে কৃষিপ্রধান পদ্মা বিভাগে। স্বপ্নের পদ্মা সেতু চালু হওয়ায় ফরিদপুর বিসিক শিল্প নগরীতে নতুন উদ্যোমে কাজ শুরু হয়েছে। প্রাণ ফিরেছে ফরিদপুরের শিল্প নগরীগুলোতে। সচল হচ্ছে বন্ধ শিল্প-কারখানাগুলো। নতুন উদ্যোমে কারখানা পরিচালনা করার স্বপ্ন দেখছে শিল্প মালিকরা। পদ্মা সেতু উদ্বোধনের পর পদ্মা বিভাগের শিল্প নগরীগুলোতে / বিসিক শিল্প নগরীগুলোতে নতুন করে শিল্পায়নের ছোঁয়া লেগেছে। অনেক উদ্যোগতা নতুন করে শিল্প স্থাপনের কথা ভাবছেন। নতুন শিল্প স্থাপন হওয়ায় পদ্মা বিভাগে বাড়ছে কর্মসংস্থান, অর্থনৈতিক স্বচ্ছলতা।
ফরিদপুরের কানাইপুরে ১৯৮৭ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠা করা হয় ফরিদপুর বিসিক শিল্পনগরী। রসায়ন শিল্প, ডাল মিল, আলআমিন ক্যামিক্যাল, ফ্লোয়ার মিল, পিভিসি পাইপসহ ৪২টি শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠান রয়েছে এই বিসিক শিল্পনগরীতে। এসব প্রতিষ্ঠানে ১২শর অধিক শ্রমিক কাজ করে জীবিকা নির্বাহ করে থাকে। এছাড়াও পদ্মা বিভাগের গোপালগঞ্জের ঘোষেরচরে একটি বিসিক-শিল্প-নগরী আছে যাহা বর্তমানে সম্প্রসারিত হচ্ছে। পদ্মা বিভাগের মাদারীপুর জেলায় নতুন ও পুরাতন দুইটি বিসিক-শিল্প-নগরী আছে এবং শরীয়তপর জেলার পালংয়েও একটি বিসিক-শিল্প-নগরী আছে। পদ্মা সেতু চালু হওয়ায় পদ্মা বিভাগের নদীর তীরবর্তী এলাকাগুলোয় অর্থনৈতিক প্রাণচাঞ্চল্য দেখা দিয়েছে। প্রত্যন্ত এলাকাতেও গড়ে উঠছে শিল্প-কারখানা, নানা ধরণের শিক্ষা ও প্রশিক্ষণ ইনস্টিটিউট, ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান ও আধুনিক শপিং মল। বাড়ছে কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ। অল্প সময়ের মধ্যে বিভিন্ন শিল্প-কারখানায় সমৃদ্ধ হচ্ছে জাজিরার পদ্মা পাড়। দ্রুতই এসব এলাকার অর্থনীতির চিত্র বদলে যাচ্ছে। পদ্মা সেতু চালু হওয়ায় পদ্মা পাড়ে দ্রুতই গড়ে উঠছে নতুন নতুন প্রতিষ্ঠান ও স্থাপনা, যা বদলে দিচ্ছে এই অঞ্চলের মানুষের জীবনযাত্রা।
পদ্মা সেতুর জাজিরা এলাকায় একটি বিসিক শিল্পপার্ক নির্মাণ করা হলে দেশের অনেক শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানের উদ্যোক্তা বিভিন্ন ধরনের শিল্পপ্রতিষ্ঠান গড়ে তুলতে আরো আগ্রহী হবেন। এতে অর্থনৈতিকভাবে আরো অনেক বেশি সমৃদ্ধশালী হবে শরীয়তপুর জেলাসহ গোটা দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমাঞ্চল। কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি হবে শ্রমজীবী মানুষের। সব ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্যের ব্যাপক প্রসার ঘটবে পদ্মাপাড়ের মানুষের।
সরকারী ও বেসরকারী উদ্যোগে পদ্মা বিভাগে গড়ে উঠেছে বিভিন্ন অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চন / শিল্প অঞ্চল। যেমনঃ শরিয়তপুর ইকোমিক জোন (জাজিরা), শরিয়তপুর ইকোনমিক জোন (গোসাইরহাট), গোপালগঞ্জ ইকোনমিক জোন (কোটালীপাড়া), গোপালগঞ্জ ইকোনমিক জোন-২ (গোপালগঞ্জ সদর), মাদারীপুর ইকোনমিক জোন (রাজৈর) এবং ফরিদপুর ইকোনমিক জোন (ফরিদপুর সদর)।
আইইএবি এর পদ্মা বিভাগের অধীনস্ত সাংগঠনিক কাঠামোগুলো নিন্মে বর্ণিত হলো। যেমনঃ– ১। ফরিদপুর জেলা ২। শরীয়তপুর জেলা ৩। মাদারীপুর জেলা ৪। রাজবাড়ী জেলা এবং ৫। গোপালগঞ্জ জেলা।
আইইএবি এর পদ্মা বিভাগের জেলা / মহানগর / শিল্প ইউনিটগুলোর এর অধীনস্ত সাংগঠনিক কাঠামোগুলো নিন্মে বর্ণিত হলো। যেমনঃ-

রাজবাড়ী জেলা এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-
১। রাজবাড়ী সদর উপজেলা ২। বালিয়াকান্দি উপজেলা ৩। কালুখালী উপজেলা ৪। গোয়ালন্দঘাট উপজেলা ৫। পাংশা উপজেলা ৬। গোয়ালন্দ পৌরসভা এবং ৭। পাংসা পৌরসভা।
গোপালগঞ্জ জেলা এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-
১। গোপালগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলা ২। টুঙ্গিপাড়া উপজেলা ৩। কোটালীপাড়া উপজেলা ৪। কাশিয়ানী উপজেলা ৫। গোপালগঞ্জ পৌরসভা ৬। টুঙ্গিপাড়া পৌরসভা ৭। কুটালীপাড়া পৌরসভা এবং ৮। মুকসুদপুর পৌরসভা।
Padma Division, IEAB
The organizational activities of IEAB are being carried out all over Bangladesh through 04 (four) industrial divisions and 10 (ten) general divisions totaling 14 (fourteen) organizational divisions. Among the 10 (ten) General Organizational Divisions of IEAB, Padma Division is one of the important General Organizational Divisions of IEAB.
14 (fourteen) organizational divisions of IEAB have 01 (one) members as incumbents from the National Presidium Council of IEAB. Accordingly, 01 (one) member from National Presidium Council for Padma division is in charge. The Divisional Committee of Padma Division has been/will be formed by the presidium members in charge of Padma Division and councilors selected from 05 (five) organizational structures of Padma Division. Among the Councilors there will be a Chief Councilor. The presidium member in charge of Padma Division will play the role of President of Padma Divisional Committee and Chief/Principal Councilor of Padma Division will play the role of General Secretary of Padma Divisional Committee. The number of members of the Divisional committee of Padma division is 06 (six). It is noted that 01 (one) member from the National Steering Committee of IEAB is specially assigned to supervise and accelerate the organizational activities of Padma Division. In the history of IEAB, Engr. Mehedi Hasan is the first special responsible member for Padma Division from the National Steering Committee, IEAB.
Padma Division is an organizationally organized department. Rota: Engr. A, K, Azad is the first elected/nominated Presidium Member from Padma Division and Engr. Md. Kamruzzaman Lavlu is the first elected/nominated Chief Councilor from Padma Division. Engr. Md. Kamruzzaman (Lavlu), Engr. Torun Kumar Sikder, Engr. Md. Khalid Mahmud, Engr. Md. Eliush Hossain and Engr. Md. Imdad Hossain Miah are the first elected / nominated Councilors from various structures of Padma Division in the history of IEAB. History of IEAB, Elected / Nominated Member Secretary of Website Content Development Committee of IEAB (Engr. Md. Salahuddin Ahmed) is a proud member of this Padma Division, IEAB.
Padma Division is an administrative division of Bangladesh. Separated from Dhaka Division, Padma Division was formed with the five districts of Faridpur, Gopalganj, Rajbari, Shariatpur and Madaripur. Its headquarters is Faridpur. Padma Division was under the ancient kingdom of Gangariddhi. During the Mughal period this area was known as Fatehabad Sarkar. In a cabinet meeting on January 26, 2015, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina discussed the formation of Padma Division with the Greater Faridpur region separated from Dhaka Division and instructed to take necessary measures in this regard. Later on, 22 October 2019, the decision to form a new department named Padma was taken in the meeting of the National Implementation Committee (NICAR) on Administrative Reorganization held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Faridpur was one of the 23 districts that Bangladesh was divided into after 1947 under Pakistan rule. Later after the establishment of Bangladesh in 1984 as a result of district reorganization, Greater Faridpur was broken up and converted into 5 districts. For example: – Faridpur Sadar, Rajbari, Gopalganj, Madaripur and Shariatpur.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of Bangladesh, the greatest father of the Bengali nation for a thousand years, was born in Tungipara of Gopalganj district of this Padma division. History says; Bangabandhu means Bangladesh and Bangladesh means Bangabandhu. Padma Division prospered as Bangabandhu was born in Padma Division. The mausoleum of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of Bangladesh and the first president of Bangladesh, is located at Tungipara in Gopalganj district, the birthplace of Bangabandhu. After the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1975, he was buried in Tungipara.
There are many new and old educational institutions in Padma Division including Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Faridpur Engineering College, Faridpur Medical College, Sheikh Rehana Textile Engineering College, Faridpur Polytechnic Institute.
Potential Padma Division in Industry and Tourism: Since the inauguration of the dream Padma Bridge, Madaripur’s Shivchar and its surrounding areas have now become a busy township. Sheikh Hasina Tant Palli is being established at Naodoba in Jazira, the landing point of Padma Bridge, and Shivchar Textile Engineering College is being established. 400 acres of land has been earmarked for the establishment of BSIC Industrial City in Shivchar Union. The state-of-the-art Mujib International Convention Center is next to the Padma Bridge. Besides Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Nursing Institute and College, Institute of Health and Technology, Judicial Academy, Science City, Olympic Village, Children’s Park, Indoor Stadium and Cultural Center are under construction.
With the opening of the Padma Bridge, various luxury commercial establishments including restaurants, hotels, motels have been established in many places. Privately, industrial establishments, entertainment centers. For construction, many entrepreneurs have already purchased land in Jazeera and started planning to build their desired establishments. Around the Padma Bridge, the Padmapar of Shariatpur Jazira has already turned into a tourist center. Padma Bridge area is becoming one of the favorite places for local and foreign tourists. A promising tourism industry is emerging in Jazira around the Padma Bridge.
Faridpur Sugar Mill Ltd. is the only heavy industrial enterprise in South Western region located in Faridpur district of Bangladesh. It is one of the major sugar mills in Bangladesh. The industrial complex is located slightly north of Dhaka-Khulna highway in Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur district of Padma division in central Bangladesh.
With the much-awaited dream Padma bridge over the Padma River open to the public, industrialization is developing rapidly in the agrarian Padma division. With the launch of the dream Padma Setu, work has started with a new zeal in Faridpur BSCIC Industrial City. Life has returned to the industrial cities of Faridpur. The closed industries are functioning. Industrial owners are dreaming of running factories in new ventures. After the inauguration of the Padma Bridge, there has been a fresh touch of industrialization in the industrial cities of the Padma division / BSCIC industrial cities. Many entrepreneurs are thinking of setting up new industries. Due to the establishment of new industries, employment and economic stability are increasing in Padma Division.
Faridpur BSCIC Industrial City was established in 1987 at Kanaipur in Faridpur. There are 42 industries including chemical industry, pulse mill, aluminum chemical, flour mill, PVC pipe in this basic industrial city. More than 1200 workers earn their living by working in these institutions. There is also a BSCIC Industrial City at Ghosherchar in Gopalganj of Padma Division which is currently being expanded. Madaripur district of Padma division has two BSCIC industrial cities, old and new, and Palang of Shariatpar district also has a BSCIC industrial city. With the opening of the Padma Bridge, there has been economic vibrancy in the riverside areas of the Padma Division. Industries, various types of education and training institutes, business establishments and modern shopping malls are also being developed in remote areas. Employment opportunities are increasing. In a short period of time, Jazeera’s Padma Par is flourishing with various industries. The economy of these areas is changing rapidly. With the opening of the Padma Bridge, new institutions and establishments are rapidly being established on the banks of the Padma River, which is changing the lifestyle of the people of this region.
If a BSCIC industrial park is constructed in the Jajira area of Padma Bridge, the entrepreneurs of many industrial establishments in the country will be more interested in building various types of industrial establishments. This will make Shariatpur district and the entire southwestern region economically more prosperous. Employment opportunities will be created for working people. The people of Padmapar will expand their trade in all fields.
