IEAB’s Goals and Objectives

1. To build rapport and bond among engineers. In short, to construct an engineering family among engineers working in industrial/private/non-governmental organizations and engineering entrepreneurs.
2. To support and ensure equal rights for unemployed engineers in Bangladesh. Establishing inter-relation/liaison with various industrial organizations and private organizations to assist in the field of employment.
3. To provide financial and human assistance from the welfare fund of IEAB in case any member of IEAB or member’s family is seriously ill.
4. Safety, health risks, and medical expenses in accidents, etc., of engineers working in industrial establishments and private establishments, taking initiatives to bring to a policy & to implement. Assistance in rehabilitation from the welfare fund of IEAB.
5. Bringing in a policy of recruitment, dismissal of engineers working in industry/private institutions/non-government organization. Implementing policies through government action.
6. To bring under gratuity, provident fund, group insurance, and pension of engineers working in industry/private institutions. Bringing various benefits and advantages including medical benefits under the policy and providing necessary legal assistance in case of financial and physical loss at the workplace.
7. Bringing up all the just demands of engineers working in industries/private organizations to the appropriate authorities of the government. Bring to the policy and implement.
8. By establishing bilateral agreements with the Industrial Engineers Association of different countries of the world, maintaining the equality of the members of IEAB in engineering and technology knowledge and creating job opportunities in different industries/private organizations of the world.
9. Making bilateral agreements to use the labs of various universities, polytechnic institutes, science and technical educational institutes/research institutes of the country and to share technology knowledge.
10. To create opportunities for the exchange of technical knowledge and experience among engineers working in different industrial organizations inter-country.
11. To work on the engineering practice and professional skills development of IEAB members aiming to disseminate modern information and knowledge related to engineering and technology.
12. To improve the skills of engineers and provide practical training for unemployed/freshers in every department to eliminate unemployment. To establish training institutes on a priority basis in each Division of IEAB in phases.
13. In order to eliminate the problem of admission disparity and shortage of seats in engineering educational institutes/universities, increasing the number of seats in engineering educational institutes/universities or to eliminate this problem, make a strong demand to the government to establish more government engineering and technology universities.
14. To work in coordination with all the service organizations of Bangladesh and to manage the organization in accordance with all the laws of the state.
15. IEAB shall never be used for personal gain and IEAB shall always be run as an engineering professional, voluntary, service, and welfare organization.
16. Ensuring the implementation of National Labor policy and (ILO) Labor Acts approved by the International Labor Organization (ILO) in industrial establishments.
17. Ensuring implementation of National Occupation Safety and Health (NOSH) Policy at the workplace by industrial organizations/institutes.
18. To compel the affiliated institutes to develop skilled engineers/manpower through appropriate training by the affiliated institutes during a 6-month apprenticeship period of fresh engineers in all industrial establishments and arranging self-technical training on behalf of IEAB.
19. IEAB is a completely non-political and secular organization.

আইইএবি এর লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য

1. প্রকৌশলীদের মধ্যে সুসম্পর্ক এবং বন্ধন গড়ে তোলা। মোট কথা, শিল্প / প্রাইভেট / বেসরকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত প্রকৌশলীদের এবং প্রকৌশলী উদ্যোক্তাদের একটি প্রকৌশলী পরিবার হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা।
2. বাংলাদেশের বেকার প্রকৌশলীদের চাকুরির ক্ষেত্রে সহযোগিতা করা এবং সম-অধিকার নিশ্চিত করা। চাকুরীক্ষেত্রে সহযোগীতা করতে বিভিন্ন শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠান ও প্রাইভেট প্রতিষ্ঠানের সাথে আন্তঃসম্পর্ক / লিয়াজো স্থাপন করা।
3. ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব বাংলাদেশ (আইইএবি) এর কোন সদস্য কিংবা সদস্যের পরিবার বড় কোন ধরনের অসুস্থ হইলে আইইএবি এর কল্যাণ ফান্ড হতে আর্থিক ও মানবিক সাহায্য প্রদান করা।
4. শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠান এবং প্রাইভেট প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত প্রকৌশলীদের দুর্ঘটনা, সুরক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য ঝুঁকি, চিকিৎসা খরচ ইত্যাদি সম্পর্কিত নীতি এবং বাস্তবায়নের জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা। আইইএবি এর কল্যাণ ফান্ড হতে পুনঃস্থাপন প্রদানের মাধ্যমে পুনর্বাসন সহায়তা করা।
5. শিল্প / প্রাইভেট প্রতিষ্ঠান / সরকারি অর্থ সংস্থানগুলিতে কর্মরত প্রকৌশলীদের নিয়োগ, বরখাস্তি সংক্রান্ত নীতি তৈরি এবং বাস্তবায়নের জন্য পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া। সরকারী কার্যক্রম মাধ্যমে নীতি বাস্তবায়ন করা।
6. শিল্প / প্রাইভেট প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত প্রকৌশলীদের প্রশাসনিক বিষয়গুলোতে সুযোগ এবং অধিকারের অধীনে স্বাস্থ্যসেবা, স্বাস্থ্যসেবা সহ প্রকৌশলীদের জন্য নিয়মিত সুবিধা সহ প্রয়োজনীয় আইনি সহায়তা প্রদান করা।
7. শিল্প / প্রাইভেট প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত প্রকৌশলীদের সম্প্রতি প্রত্যয়িত কর্তৃপক্ষে কর্তৃপক্ষের নিকট যে সম্মতিপ্রাপ্ত প্রকৌশলী সংস্থা সহায়িতা করে বিভিন্ন দেশের ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্স সংস্থাগুলির সদস্যদের সমতায় রাখা এবং বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন শিল্প / প্রাইভেট প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্ম সৃষ্টি করা।
8. বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ল্যাব ব্যবহার করতে সম্প্রতি বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউট, বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি শিক্ষাসংস্থা / গবেষণা প্রতিষ্ঠানের সাথে সহযোগিতা করতে এবং প্রযুক্তি জ্ঞান ভাগ করতে দ্বিপক্ষীয় চুক্তিসমূহ গড়ে তোলা।
9. বিভিন্ন শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত প্রকৌশলীদের মধ্যে প্রযুক্তি জ্ঞান এবং অভিজ্ঞতা আদান-প্রদানের সুযোগ তৈরি করতে।
10. আধুনিক প্রযুক্তি ও প্রকৌশল সম্পর্কিত তথ্য ও জ্ঞান প্রচার করার লক্ষ্যে আইইএবি সদস্যদের প্রকৌশলী প্র্যাকটিস এবং পেশাদারীভূত দক্ষতা উন্নয়নে কার্যক্রম চালিয়ে যাওয়া।
11. বেকার / নবাগত প্রকৌশলীদের জন্য সকল বিভাগে প্রাক্টিক্যাল প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করার সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করে বেকারত্ব পরিস্থিতি দূর করতে। আইইএবি এর প্রাথমিক তারিকে প্রতিবেশীতা অনুযায়ী প্রতিষ্ঠানিক প্রশিক্ষণ ইনস্টিটিউট স্থাপন করা।
12. প্রকৌশল শিক্ষাসংস্থা / বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তি বিপদে অসমতা এবং আসনের অভাব দূর করার জন্য প্রকৌশল শিক্ষাসংস্থা / বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আসন সংখ্যা বাড়িয়ে নেওয়া বা এই সমস্যা দূর করার জন্য সরকারের পক্ষে আরও সরকারি প্রকৌশল এবং প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপন করার জন্য কাঠামো চালিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য শক্তিশালী আপীল করা।
13. বাংলাদেশের সমসমাজ সেবা সংস্থা সমস্তের সাথে সমন্বয়ে কাজ করা এবং সম্প্রদায়ের সমস্ত আইন অনুযায়ী প্রতিষ্ঠানটি পরিচালিত করা।
14. আইইএবি কোনভাবেই ব্যক্তিগত সুবিধা হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হবেনা এবং আইইএবি সর্বদা প্রকৌশলী পেশাদারী, স্বেচ্ছাসেবী, সেবামূলক এবং কল্যাণমূলক সংগঠন হিসেবে চালানো হবে।
15. শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলিতে আন্তর্জাতিক শ্রম নীতি এবং আন্তর্জাতিক শ্রম সংস্থা (ILO) এর অনুমোদিত শ্রম আইন গৃহীত করা এবং বাস্তবায়ন করা।
16. শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলিতে জাতীয় পেশাগত সুরক্ষা ও স্বাস্থ্য (NOSH) নীতির বাস্তবায়ন নিশ্চিত করা।
17. বেকার / নবাগত প্রকৌশলীদের কর্মক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি করতে প্রতিষ্ঠান অনুবর্তী শিল্প সংস্থা দ্বারা প্রশিক্ষণ সময়কালে বেকার / নবাগত প্রকৌশলীদের 6 মাসের অপরিশিষ্ট অভিনব মনোনয়ন করে এবং প্রতিনিধিত্বকে নিত্যতারে ব্যবস্থা করা হতে পারে।
18. আইইএবি সম্পূর্ণভাবে অরাজনৈতিক এবং ধর্মনিরপেক্ষ সংগঠন।
