০৪ (চার) টি শিল্প বিভাগ এবং ১০ (দশ) টি সাধারণ বিভাগ মোট ১৪ (চৌদ্দ) টি সাংগঠনিক বিভাগের মাধ্যমে সমগ্র বাংলাদেশ ব্যাপী আইইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম পরিব্যাপ্ত / পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। আইইএবি এর ০৪ (চার) টি শিল্প বিভাগের মধ্যে নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগ আইইএবি এর অন্যতম ০১ (এক) টি শিল্প বিভাগ।
আইইএবি এর ১৪ ( চৌদ্দ) টি সাংগঠনিক বিভাগে আইইএবি এর জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল থেকে ০১ ( এক ) জন করে সদস্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন। সেই মোতাবেক, নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের জন্য জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল থেকে ০১ ( এক ) জন সদস্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন। নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য এবং নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের ০৬ (ছয়) টি সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো থেকে নির্বাচিত কাউন্সিলরগণের সমন্বয়ে নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটি (Divisional Committee) গঠিত হয়েছে / হবে। নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটির সদস্য সংখ্যা ০৭ ( সাত) জন। কাউন্সিলরদের মধ্যে একজন চীফ কাউন্সিলর থাকবে। নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগীয় কমিটির সভাপতির ভুমিকা পালন করবেন এবং নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের চীফ / প্রধান কাউন্সিলর নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগীয় কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদকের ভুমিকা পালন করবেন। উল্লেখ্য যে, নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম বিশেষ তদারকি ও ত্বরান্বিত করতে আইইএবি এর জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি থেকে ০১ ( এক) জন সদস্য বিশেষ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন। আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি থেকে নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের জন্য প্রথম বিশেষ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত সদস্য হলেন প্রকৌঃ মেহেদী হাসান।

বিশেষভাবে নরসিংদীঃ নরসিংদী একটি ঘন শিল্প এলাকা এবং এখানে অনেক টেক্সটাইল মিল রয়েছে। এখানেও মানসম্মত কলা পাওয়া যায়। বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় এবং সবচেয়ে বিখ্যাত হাটটি এখানে নরসিংদীতে অবস্থিত যা সেকেরচর/বাবুর হাট নামে পরিচিত। বেশ কিছু সংখ্যক পাটকল, চিনিকল, ইউরিয়া সার শিল্প, গ্যাসক্ষেত্র, বাংলাদেশ ক্ষুদ্র ও কুটির শিল্প কর্পোরেশন (বিসিক), বাংলাদেশ পাওয়ার ডেভেলপমেন্ট বোর্ড (বিপিডিবি) দ্বারা পরিচালিত বাংলাদেশের বৃহত্তম পাওয়ার প্লান্ট, ফেয়ার ইলেকট্রনিক্স লিমিটেড (বাংলাদেশ এ স্যামসাং পণ্যের প্রস্তুতকারক), বেশ কিছু স্থানীয় এবং রপ্তানিমুখী তৈরি পোশাক (আরএমজি), পাশাপাশি অনেক ছোট থেকে বড় শিল্প নরসিংদীতে অবস্থিত। এগুলো সবই বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখছে। এছাড়াও সরকারী ও বেসরকারী উদ্যোগে নরসিংদীতে গড়ে উঠেছে বিভিন্ন অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চন / শিল্প অঞ্চল। যেমনঃ নরসিংদী ইকোমিক জোন(নরসিংদী সদর) এবং এ,কে, খাঁন এন্ড কোম্পানী লিমিটেড ইকোনমিক জোন (পলাশ)।
বিশেষভাবে কিশোরগঞ্জঃ কিশোরগঞ্জ হাওর এলাকাকে অর্থনৈতিক কেন্দ্রে পরিণত করছে। এই শহর মেঘনা ও ব্রহ্মপুত্র নামক দুটি বিশিষ্ট নদী দ্বারা বেষ্টিত। কিশোরগঞ্জের মানুষ বেশিরভাগই কৃষির সাথে জড়িত। কিন্তু এটি রাজধানী ঢাকা থেকে মাত্র ৯০ কিলোমিটার দূরে বাংলাদেশের একটি শিল্প জেলা হিসেবে গড়ে উঠছে। বেসরকারি অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চল: কিশোরগঞ্জ অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চলে (KEZ) ভারতীয় বৃহত্তম কোম্পানি TATA Group (Nitol Motors Ltd.) প্রায় 500 কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করেছে । এই জেলার প্রধান পর্যটন আকর্ষণের স্থান হল জঙ্গলবাড়ি দুর্গ – বাংলার শাসক ঈশা খানের একটি ফাঁড়ি, শাহ মাহমুদ মসজিদ, সাদি মসজিদ, নিকলী হাওর, মিঠামইন-অষ্টগ্রাম রোড ইত্যাদি। সাবেক রাষ্ট্রপতি মোহাম্মদ জিল্লুর রহমান এবং রাষ্ট্রপতি মোঃ আব্দুল হামিদ সহ অনেক গুণী ও দেশ বরেণ্য ব্যক্তিত্বদের জন্ম স্থান কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলায়।
শিল্প বানিজ্য / শিল্প ঐতিহ্য/ শিল্প ঘনত্ব কে প্রাধান্য দিয়ে নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের অধীনে কয়েকটি শিল্প ইউনিট গঠন করা হয়েছে। বিভিন্ন শিল্প ইউনিটের অধীনে বিভিন্ন উপ-শিল্প ইউনিট গঠন করা হয়েছে। শিল্প ইউনিট গুলো জেলা কাঠামোর সমমান এবং উপ-শিল্প ইউনিটগুলো উপজেলা কাঠামোর সমমান।
আইইএবি এর নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগ এর অধীনস্ত সাংগঠনিক কাঠামোগুলো নিন্মে বর্ণিত হলো। যেমনঃ– ১। কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলা (উত্তর) ২। কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলা (দক্ষিণ) ৩। কেইজেড-পাকুন্দিয়া শিল্প ইউনিট ৪। নরসিংদী সদর-পলাশ শিল্প ইউনিট ৫। রায়পুরা – বেলাবো শিল্প ইউনিট এবং ৬। মনোহরদী – শিবপুর শিল্প ইউনিট।
আইইএবি এর নরসিংদী-কিশোরগঞ্জ শিল্প বিভাগের জেলা / মহানগর / শিল্প ইউনিটগুলোর এর অধীনস্ত সাংগঠনিক কাঠামোগুলো নিন্মে বর্ণিত হলো। যেমনঃ-

কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলা (দক্ষিণ) শিল্প ইউনিট এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-
১। মিঠামইন উপজেলা ২। মিঠামইন পৌরসভা ৩। ইটনা উপজেলা ৪। ইটনা পৌরসভা ৫। আউশগ্রাম উপজেলা ৬। নিকলী উপজেলা ৭। বাজিতপুর উপজেলা ৮। বাজিতপুর পৌরসভা ৯। কুলিয়ারচর উপজেলা ১০। কুলিয়ারচর পৌরসভা ১১। ভৈরব উপজেলা এবং ১২। ভৈরব পৌরসভা ।
কেইজেড-পাকুন্দিয়া শিল্প ইউনিট এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-
১। পাকুন্দিয়া উপজেলা ২। পাকুন্দিয়া পৌরসভা এবং ৩। KEZ উপ-শিল্প ইউনিট ।
নরসিংদী সদর-পলাশ শিল্প ইউনিট এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-
১। নরসিংদী থানা ২। নরসিংদী পৌরসভা ৩। মাদবদী থানা ৪। মাদবদী পৌরসভা ৫। পলাশ উপজেলা ৬। পলাশ পৌরসভা এবং ৭। ঘোরাশাল পৌরসভা ।
রায়পুরা – বেলাবো শিল্প ইউনিট এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-
১। রায়পুরা উপজেলা ২। রায়পুরা পৌরসভা এবং ৩। বেলাবো উপজেলা ।
মনোহরদী – শিবপুর শিল্প ইউনিট এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-
১। মনোহরদী উপজেলা ২। মনোহরদী পৌরসভা ৩। শিবপুর উপজেলা এবং ৪। শিবপুর পৌরসভা ।
Narsingdi – Kishoreganj Industrial Division, IEAB
The organizational activities of IEAB are being carried out all over Bangladesh through 04 (four) industrial divisions and 10 (ten) general divisions totaling 14 (fourteen) organizational divisions. Among the 04 (four) industrial divisions of IEAB, Narsingdi -Kishoreganj industrial division is one of the industrial divisions of IEAB.
14 (fourteen) organizational divisions of IEAB have 01 (one) members as incumbents from the National Presidium Council of IEAB. Accordingly, 01 (one) member from National Presidium Council for Narsingdi – Kishoreganj industrial division is in charge. The Divisional Committee of Narsingdi- Kishoreganj industrial division has been/will be formed by the presidium members in charge of Narsingdi – Kishoreganj Industrial Division and councilors selected from 06 (six) organizational structures of Narsingdi- Kishoreganj industrial division. Among the Councilors there will be a Chief Councilor. The presidium member in charge of Narsingdi – Kishoreganj industrial division will play the role of President of Narsingdi-Kishoreganj industrial Divisional Committee and Chief Councilor of Narsingdi – Kishoreganj will play the role of General Secretary of Narsingdi – Kishoreganj industrial Divisional Committee. The number of members of the Divisional committee of Narsingdi-Kishoreganj industrial division is 07 (Seven). It is noted that 01 (one) member from the National Steering Committee of IEAB is specially assigned to supervise and accelerate the organizational activities of Narsingdi-Kishoreganj industrial division. In the history of IEAB, Engr. Mehedi Hasan is the first special responsible member for Narsingdi – Kishoreganj Industrial Division from the National Steering Committee, IEAB.
Narsingdi-Kishorganj Industrial Division is an organizationally organized division. Engr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman (Adil) is a founder member of IEAB and is a proud member of Narsingdi-Kishorganj Industrial Division of IEAB. Engr. Mohammad Shohal Bhuiyan is the first elected / nominated Presidium Member from Narsingdi-Kishorganj Industrial Division and Engr. Md ——————is the first elected / nominated Chief Councilor from Narsingdi-Kishorganj Industrial Division. [NB: The Councilor was not selected / nominated from any organizational structure of Narsingdi-Kishorganj Industrial Division while preparing the data for uploading on the website.] Even, Engr. APM Mozammel, is a proud member of Narsingdi-Kishorganj Industrial Division, is the first elected/nominated Vice President of Central Committee of Publication and Publicity Portal in the history of IEAB.
Narsingdi and Kishoreganj districts are located in the central part of Bangladesh. Officially, both Narsingdi and Kishoreganj are a part of Dhaka Division.

Specially Narsingdi: Narsingdi is a densely industrial area and is home to many textile mills. Quality banana is also found here. The biggest and most renowned HAAT of Bangladesh is located here at Narsingdi which is known as SEKERCHAR/BABUR HAAT. Several numbers of jute mills, Sugar mills, UREA fertilizer industry, Gas fields, the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), the Largest powerplant in Bangladesh run by Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Fair Electronics Limited (Manufacturer of SAMSUNG products in Bangladesh), Several Local and Export oriented Readymade garments (RMG), as well as many small to large industry, are situated in Narsingdi. All of these are playing an important role in the economy of Bangladesh. Also, various economic zones / industrial zones have been developed in Narsingdi through government and private initiatives. For example: Narsingdi Economic Zone (Narsingdi Sadar) and AK, Khan & Company Limited Economic Zone (Palash).
Specially Kishoreganj: Kishoreganj is turning haor areas into an economic hub. This city is surrounded by two prominent rivers called Meghna and Brahmaputra. The people of Kishoreganj are mostly involved in agriculture. But it is raising as an industrial district in Bangladesh, only 90km from the capital Dhaka. Indian biggest company TATA Group (Nitol Motors Ltd.) has invested around BDT 500 crore in Private Economic Zone: Kishoreganj Economic Zone (KEZ). Major tourist attractions places of this district are the Jangalbari Fort – an outpost of the Bengal ruler, Isha Khan (Isha Khan’s Home and museum), the Shah Mahmud Mosque, Sadi Mosque, Nikli Haor, Mithamoin-Astagram Road, etc. Kishoreganj district is the birthplace of many eminent personalities including former President Mohammad Zillur Rahman and President Md Abdul Hamid.
