এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর কে বাংলায় বলি ‘উদ্যোক্তা। তবে, এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর এর সঠিক বাংলা হওয়া উচিত স্ব-উদ্যোক্তা। একজন ব্যক্তি যখন নিজের কর্মসংস্থানের কথা চিন্তা করে কোন চাকরি বা কারো অধিনস্ত না থেকে নিজে থেকেই কোন ব্যাবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান স্থাপন করার চেষ্টা করেন বা পরিকল্পনা শুরু করেন, তখন তাকে উদ্যোক্তা বলা হয় । ব্যবসায় উদ্যোক্তার উদ্যোগ যখন সফল কিংবা স্বনির্ভর হয়, তখন তাকে বলা হয় ব্যাবসায়ি। একজন ব্যাবসায়ি তার ব্যাবসায়িক জীবনের সবচেয়ে কঠিন এবং গুরত্বপুর্ন সময় একজন উদ্যোক্তা হিসাবে কঠোর মনোবল , উদ্যাম প্রানশক্তি ও আত্ববিস্বাসকে সঙ্গী করে শত বাধা পেড়িয়ে একজন আত্বনির্ভরশীল ব্যাবসায়ি হওয়ার স্বপ্ন নিয়ে এগিয়ে যান ।

আত্মকর্মসংস্থানের ক্ষেত্রে একজন ব্যক্তি নিজের কর্মসংস্থানের চিন্তা করে কাজে হাত দেন। একজন আত্মকর্মসংস্থানকারী ব্যক্তি তখনই একজন উদ্যোক্তায় পরিণত হবেন, যখন তিনি নিজের কর্মসংস্থানের পাশাপাশি সমাজের আরও কয়েকজনের কর্মসংস্থানের চিন্তা করে কাজ শুরু করেন, ঝুঁকি আছে জেনেও এগিয়ে যান এবং একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান গড়ে তোলেন। সেক্ষেত্রে, সকল ব্যবসায় উদ্যোক্তাকে আত্মকর্মসংস্থানকারী বলা গেলেও সকল আত্মকর্মসংস্থানকারীকে ব্যবসায় উদ্যোক্তা বলা যায় না।

উদ্যোক্তা হতে হলে দৃঢ় মনোবল, কঠোর অধ্যবসায় ও কর্মপ্রচেষ্টার অধিকারী হতে হবে । যে ব্যক্তি দৃঢ় মনোবল ও সাহসিকতার সাথে ফলাফল অনিশ্চিত জেনেও ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান স্থাপন করেন ও সফলভাবে ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান পরিচালনা করেন, তিনি ব্যবসায় উদ্যোক্তা বা শিল্পোদ্যোক্তা। ব্যবসায় উদ্যোগ (Entrepreneurship) এবং ব্যবসায় উদ্যোক্তা (Entrepreneur) শব্দ দুটি একটি অন্যটির সাথে অঙ্গাঙ্গিভাবে জড়িত। যিনি ব্যবসায় উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করেন তিনিই ব্যবসায় উদ্যোক্তা । ব্যবসায় উদ্যোগের অন্য একটি ফলাফল হলা অন্যদের জন্য কর্মসংস্থান সৃষ্টি করা। ব্যবসায় উদ্যোগ মালিকের কর্মসংস্থানের পাশাপাশি অন্যদের জন্যও কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করে।

বর্তমান সময়ে অবশ্য শিক্ষা, প্রশিক্ষণ এবং নিজের উপর বিশ্বাস ও মনোবলের মাধ্যমে একজন  সফল উদ্যোক্তা হওয়া সম্ভব। ব্যাক্তিগত গুনসমুহঃ- আত্মবিশ্বাস, সৃজনশীলতা ও উদ্ভাবনী শক্তি ও কঠোর পরিশ্রম করার ক্ষমতা, নেতৃত্বদানের যোগ্যতা, কৃতিত্ব অর্জনের আকাঙ্ক্ষা ও চ্যালেঞ্জ গ্রহণ করার মানসিকতা, নির্দিষ্ট লক্ষ্য অর্জনের জন্য অবিরাম কাজ করা এবং ফলাফল অর্জিত না হওয়া পর্যন্ত কাজে নিয়াজিত থাকা।

চাকুরী নয় আসুন উদ্যোক্তা হই, এই স্লোগান বাস্তবায়ন করতে অর্থ্যাৎ উদ্যোক্তা তৈরীতে আইইএবি এর “এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল” কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। পাশাপাশি বেকার প্রকৌশলীদের উদ্যোক্তা হতে আগ্রহী করতে “এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল বিভিন্ন সফল উদ্যোক্তাদের নিয়ে নিয়মিত সভা-সেমিনার, লাইভ প্রোগ্রামের আয়োজন করে যাচ্ছে।

এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির মেয়াদ হবে ০৩ (তিন) বৎসর। এই কমিটি মর্যাদা হবে (ধারা ৪.১০ অনুযায়ী) কেন্দ্রীয় উপ-কমিটির সমমান। এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির বাহিরে বিভাগীয় কমিটিও গঠন করা যাবে। এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর বিভাগীয় কমিটির মেয়াদ, পদ-পদবী রূপরেখা এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির অনুরূপ হবে। এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কার্যক্রম সুষ্ঠুভাবে পরিচালনা করার স্বার্থে (কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির বাহিরে) এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টালে এর কেন্দ্রীয় / বিভাগীয় পোর্টালে সর্বোচ্চ দুইশত আইইএবি এর সদস্য কাজ করতে পারবে । এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টালে যে সকল সদস্যগণ কাজ করবে, তারা এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় সদস্য / বিভাগীয় সদস্য হিসেবে পরিচয় দিতে পারবে।

এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর বিভাগীয় কমিটিগুলো এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সরাসরি তত্ত্বাবধানে গঠিত হবে। এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর বিভাগীয় কার্যক্রম / বিভাগীয় কমিটির কার্যক্রম সংশিষ্ট বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটি এবং এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সরাসরি / সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে পরিচালিত হবে।

উল্লেখ্য যে, জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির একজন সদস্য এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর পরিচালক (Director) হিসেবে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত থাকবেন এবং জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল এর একজন সদস্য এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কো-অর্ডিনেটর (Co-ordinator) হিসেবে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত থাকবেন। পাশাপাশি চীফ কাউন্সিলরদের মধ্য থেকে একজন সদস্য এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর সহ-কোঅর্ডিনেটর (Co-coordinator) হিসেবে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত থাকবেন। জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির / কেন্দ্রীয় নির্বাহী কমিটির সভাপতি এবং সাধারণ সম্পাদক এর সম্মিতিতে জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি এবং জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল  এবং চীফ কাউন্সিলরদের মধ্য থেকে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত এই তিন জন সদস্য এন্ট্রেপ্রেনিউর ক্রিয়েশন পোর্টাল এর কমিটি গঠন সহ সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে থাকবেন।

Entrepreneur Creation Portal, IEAB

Entrepreneur is called ‘Udyokta’ in Bengali. However, the correct Bengali of entrepreneur should be self-entrepreneur. When a person tries to set up a business organization on his own without any job or subordinate to anyone, thinking of his own employment, then he is called an entrepreneur. When a business entrepreneur’s venture is successful or self-sustaining, he is called a businessman. At the most difficult and important time of a businessman’s business life, as an entrepreneur, he goes ahead with the dream of becoming a self-reliant businessman, overcoming hundreds of obstacles with a strong spirit, enthusiasm and self-belief as an entrepreneur.

In case of self-employment, a person engages in work thinking of his own employment. A self-employed person becomes an entrepreneur only when he starts working with the thought of his own employment as well as the employment of some others in the society, go ahead knowing there are risks and built an institution. In that case, all business entrepreneurs can be called self-employed but not all self-employed can be called business entrepreneurs.

To become an entrepreneur, one must possess strong morale, hard perseverance and hard work. A person who, with determination and courage, sets up a business and manages it successfully, knowing that the outcome is uncertain, is a business entrepreneur or industrialist. The words “Entrepreneurship” and” Entrepreneur” are inextricably linked to each other. The one who undertakes business is a business entrepreneur. Another outcome of business ventures is the creation of employment for others. Business ventures create employment opportunities for the owner as well as others.

Nowadays, however, it is possible to become a successful entrepreneur through education, training, self-belief and determination. Personal Qualities: – Confidence, creativity and innovative energy and ability to work hard, leadership ability, desire to achieve achievement and mindset to accept challenges, work relentlessly to achieve specific goals and stay engaged until results are achieved. IEAB’s “Entrepreneur Creation Portal” is working to implement this slogan, not jobs, let’s be entrepreneurs. As well as, “Entrepreneur Creation Portal” is organizing regular meetings-seminars, live programs with various successful entrepreneurs to motivate unemployed engineers to become entrepreneurs.

The term of the Central Committee of Entrepreneur Creation Portal will be 03 (three) years. This Committee shall have status (as per Section 4.10) equivalent to the Central Sub-Committee. Apart from the central committee of the Entrepreneur Creation Portal; Divisional committees can also be formed. The tenure of the Divisional Committee of Entrepreneur Creation Portal, the position & outline will be similar to that of the Central Committee of Entrepreneur Creation Portal. In order to run the activities of Entrepreneur Creation Portal smoothly (outside the Central Committee), maximum two hundred members of IEAB can work in the central / divisional portal of Entrepreneur Creation Portal. All the members who will work in Entrepreneur Creation Portal, they can introduce themselves as central member / divisional member of Entrepreneur Creation Portal.

The Divisional Committees of Entrepreneur Creation Portal will be formed under the direct supervision of the Central Committee of Entrepreneur Creation Portal. The divisional activities of the Entrepreneur Creation Portal will be conducted under the direct / overall supervision of the Divisional Committee of the concerned Division and the Central Committee of the Entrepreneur Creation Portal.

Note that a member of the National Steering Committee will be responsible as the Director of Entrepreneur Creation Portal and a member of the National Presidium Council will be responsible as the Coordinator of Entrepreneur Creation Portal. As well as, one member from among the Chief Councilors will be responsible as the Co-coordinator of Entrepreneur Creation Portal. In consent of the President and General Secretary of the National Steering Committee / Central Executive Committee, these three responsible members from the National Steering Committee and the National Presidium Council and the chief Councilors will be in overall supervision of Entrepreneur Creation Portal including committee formation.

Engr. Muhammad Moshiur Rahman is the first nominated Director of Entrepreneur Creation Portal in the history of IEAB, Engr. Md. Engr. Md. Noor Alom Siddiki Moon is the first Nominated Coordinator of Entrepreneur Creation Portal in the history of IEAB and Engr. Sadekul Islam (Faruk) is the first nominated Co-Coordinator of Entrepreneur Creation Portal in the history of IEAB.
