ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং টেকনোলজীতে / ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষয়ে অধ্যয়ণরত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কণ্যাণে ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল কাজ করছে। ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষয়ে অধ্যয়ণরত আর্থিকভাবে অস্বচ্ছল, গরিব ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মেধাবী ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের আর্থিক সহায়তা সহ বিভিন্ন সার্বিক সহায়তা “ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল” থেকে করে যাচ্ছে। ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষয়ে অধ্যয়ণরত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের উচ্চ শিক্ষার বিষয়ে দিকনির্দেশনা ও এই বিষয়ে সার্বিক সহায়তা এই পোর্টালের মাধ্যমে করা হয়ে থাকে। ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষয়ে অধ্যয়ণরত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের ন্যায্য অধিকার, সুবিধা ও অসুবিধা ও যেকোন বৈষম্য দূরীকরণের ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।
বাংলাদেশ বা বহির্বিশ্বের যেকোন স্বীকৃত পাবলিক / প্রাইভেট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বা সমমানের প্রতিষ্ঠানে গ্রাজুয়েট ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর যেকোন টেকনোলজীতে অধ্যয়নরত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা অথবা বাংলাদেশ বা বহির্বিশ্বের যেকোন স্বীকৃত পাবলিক / প্রাইভেট পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউট বা সমমানের প্রতিষ্ঠানে ডিপ্লোমা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর যেকোন টেকনোলজীতে অধ্যয়নরত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা আইইএবি এর গঠনতন্ত্র অনুযায়ী গ্রাজুয়েট স্টুডেন্টস সদস্য অথবা স্টুডেন্টস সদস্য হওয়ার যোগ্য হিসেবে বিবেচিত হবে। তবে বাংলাদেশী নাগরিক হতে হবে। গ্রাজুয়েট স্টুডেন্টস সদস্যরা অথবা স্টুডেন্টস সদস্যরা ভোটার হতে পারবে না। নির্বাচনে ভোট দিতে পারবে না এবং নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহণও করতে পারবে না। কিন্তু গ্রাজুয়েট স্টুডেন্টস সদস্যরা অথবা স্টুডেন্টস সদস্যরা স্ব-স্ব শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের (বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় / ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ / ইনস্টিটিউট, টেকনিক্যাল কলেজ / ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ / পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউট ) শাখায় ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফের্য়াস পোর্টাল এর অধীনে উক্ত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের কমিটিতে থাকতে পারবে। শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান শাখার কমিটির পদ-পদবীর সংখ্যা ও রূপরেখা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফের্য়াস পোর্টাল এর দায়িত্বশীলরা নির্ধারণ করবেন এবং শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান শাখার কমিটিগুলো ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে গঠিত হবে।
ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির মেয়াদ হবে ০৩ (তিন) বৎসর। এই কমিটি মর্যাদা হবে (ধারা ৪.১০ অনুযায়ী) কেন্দ্রীয় উপ-কমিটির সমমান। ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির বাহিরে বিভাগীয় কমিটিও গঠন করা যাবে। ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর বিভাগীয় কমিটির মেয়াদ, পদ-পদবী রূপরেখা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির অনুরূপ হবে। ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কার্যক্রম সুষ্ঠুভাবে পরিচালনা করার স্বার্থে (কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির বাহিরে) ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় / বিভাগীয় পোর্টালে সর্বোচ্চ দুইশত আইইএবি এর সদস্য কাজ করতে পারবে । ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টালে যে সকল সদস্যগণ কাজ করবে, তারা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় সদস্য / বিভাগীয় সদস্য হিসেবে পরিচয় দিতে পারবে।
ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর বিভাগীয় কমিটিগুলো ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সরাসরি তত্ত্বাবধানে গঠিত হবে। ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর বিভাগীয় কার্যক্রম / বিভাগীয় কমিটির কার্যক্রম সংশিষ্ট বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটি এবং ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সরাসরি / সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে পরিচালিত হবে।
উল্লেখ্য যে, জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির একজন সদস্য ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর পরিচালক (Director) হিসেবে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত থাকবেন এবং জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল এর একজন সদস্য ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কো-অর্ডিনেটর (Co-ordinator) হিসেবে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত থাকবেন। পাশাপাশি চীফ কাউন্সিলরদের মধ্য থেকে একজন সদস্য ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর সহ-কোঅর্ডিনেটর (Co-coordinator) হিসেবে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত থাকবেন। জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির / কেন্দ্রীয় নির্বাহী কমিটির সভাপতি এবং সাধারণ সম্পাদক এর সম্মিতিতে জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি এবং জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল এবং চীফ কাউন্সিলরদের মধ্য থেকে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত এই তিন জন সদস্য ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস অ্যাফেয়ার্স পোর্টাল এর কমিটি গঠন সহ সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে থাকবেন।

Engineering Students Affairs Portal is working for the sake / welfare of the students studying in Engineering Technology / In Engineering subject. Engineering Students Affairs Portal is providing financial assistance to the financially poor, indigent and underprivileged meritorious students studying in Engineering Subjects. For studying students in Engineering subjects; Guidelines on Higher Education and Overall assistance in this regard is provided through this portal. Engineering Students Affairs Portal is working on fair rights, advantages and disadvantages and elimination of any discrimination of Students studying in Engineering Subjects.
Students studying in any technology of Graduate Engineering in any recognized public / private university or equivalent institution in Bangladesh or abroad or students studying in any technology of Diploma Engineering in any recognized public / private polytechnic institute or equivalent institution in Bangladesh or abroad will be considered as Graduate Student Member or Student Member as per the constitution of IEAB. But should be a Bangladeshi citizen. Graduate student members or student members cannot be voters. Can’t vote in elections and can’t participate in elections. But Graduate Students Members or Students Members of their respective Educational Institutions (Universities / Engineering Colleges / Institutes, Technical Colleges / Engineering Colleges / Polytechnic Institutes) can be in the Committees of the Educational Institutions under the Engineering Students Affairs Portal. The number of posts and outline of the academic institution branch committee will be determined by the officials of the Engineering Students Affairs Portal and Institutional Branch Committees will be formed under the overall supervision of Engineering Students Affairs Portal.
The term of the Central Committee of Engineering Students Affairs Portal will be 03 (three) years. This Committee shall have status (as per Section 4.10) equivalent to the Central Sub-Committee. Apart from the central committee of the Engineering Students Affairs Portal; Divisional committees can also be formed. The tenure of the Divisional Committee of Engineering Students Affairs Portal, the position & outline will be similar to that of the Central Committee of Engineering Students Affairs Portal. In order to run the activities of Engineering Students Affairs Portal smoothly (outside the Central Committee), maximum two hundred members of IEAB can work in the central / divisional portal of Engineering Students Affairs Portal. All the members who will work in Engineering Students Affairs Portal, they can introduce themselves as central member / divisional member of Engineering Students Affairs Portal of IEAB.
The Divisional Committees of Engineering Students Affairs Portal will be formed under the direct supervision of the Central Committee of Engineering Students Affairs Portal. The divisional activities of the Engineering Students Affairs Portal will be conducted under the direct / overall supervision of the Divisional Committee of the concerned Division and the Central Committee of the Engineering Students Affairs Portal.
Note that a member of the National Steering Committee will be responsible as the Director of Engineering Students Affairs Portal and a member of the National Presidium Council will be responsible as the Coordinator of Engineering Students Affairs Portal. As well as, one member from among the Chief Councilors will be responsible as the Co-coordinator of Engineering Students Affairs Portal. In consent of the President and General Secretary of the National Steering Committee / Central Executive Committee, these three responsible members from the National Steering Committee and the National Presidium Council and the chief Councilors will be in overall supervision of Engineering Students Affairs Portal including committee formation.
Engr. Mehdi Hasan is the first nominated Director of Engineering Students Affairs Portal in the history of IEAB, Engr. Md. Mizanur Rahman is the first Nominated Coordinator of Engineering Students Affairs Portal in the history of IEAB and Rtn. Engr. Md. Fayzul Kabir is the first nominated Co-Coordinator of Engineering Students Affairs Portal in the history of IEAB.
