ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ, আইইএবি
০৪ (চার) টি শিল্প বিভাগ এবং ১০ (দশ) টি সাধারণ বিভাগ মোট ১৪ (চৌদ্দ) টি সাংগঠনিক বিভাগের মাধ্যমে সমগ্র বাংলাদেশ ব্যাপী আইইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম পরিব্যাপ্ত / পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। আইইএবি এর ১০ (দশ) টি সাধারণ সাংগঠনিক বিভাগের মধ্যে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ আইইএবি এর অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ্ ০১ (এক) টি সাধারণ সাংগঠনিক বিভাগ।
আইইএবি এর ১৪ ( চৌদ্দ) টি সাংগঠনিক বিভাগে আইইএবি এর জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল থেকে ০১ ( এক ) জন করে সদস্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন। সেই মোতাবেক, ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের জন্য জাতীয় প্রেসিডিয়াম কাউন্সিল থেকে ০১ ( এক ) জন সদস্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন। ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য এবং ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের ১২(বার) টি সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো থেকে নির্বাচিত কাউন্সিলরগণের সমন্বয়ে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটি (Divisional Committee) গঠিত হয়েছে / হবে। কাউন্সিলরদের মধ্যে একজন চীফ কাউন্সিলর থাকবে। ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগীয় কমিটির সভাপতির ভুমিকা পালন করবেন এবং ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের চীফ / প্রধান কাউন্সিলর ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগীয় কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদকের ভুমিকা পালন করবেন। ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের বিভাগীয় কমিটির সদস্য সংখ্যা ১৩(তের) জন। উল্লেখ্য যে, ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম বিশেষ তদারকি ও ত্বরান্বিত করতে আইইএবি এর জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি থেকে ০১ ( এক) জন সদস্য বিশেষ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হিসেবে আছেন / থাকবেন। আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি থেকে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের জন্য প্রথম বিশেষ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত সদস্য হলেন প্রকৌঃ মোঃ আলতাফ হোসেন। প্রকৌঃ মোঃ আলতাফ হোসেন ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত হওয়ার কিছুদিন পরেই কিছু ব্যক্তিগত সমস্যা ও ব্যস্ততার সম্মুখীন হন। এমতবস্থায়, আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি থেকে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের জন্য প্রথম বিশেষ দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত সদস্য অফিসিয়ালী প্রকৌঃ মোঃ আলতাফ হোসেন হলেও জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি অপর সদস্য / জাতীয় স্টিয়ারিং কমিটি সভাপতি (ভারপ্রাপ্ত) প্রকৌঃ জাহাঙ্গীর আলম তুষার দায়িত্ব নিয়ে তাঁহার নিজ হাতে এবং নিজ নেতৃত্বে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগকে গুছিয়ে আইইএবি এর সাংগঠনিকভাবে শক্তিশালী একটি বিভাগে রূপান্তর করেন।
ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ সাংগঠনিকভাবে সংগঠিত শক্তিশালী একটি বিভাগ। প্রকৌঃ মোঃ রায়হানুল ইসলাম ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ থেকে নির্বাচিত / মনোনীত প্রথম প্রেসিডিয়াম মেম্বার এবং প্রকৌঃ মুহাম্মদ সারোয়ার হোসেন ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ থেকে নির্বাচিত / মনোনীত প্রথম চীফ কাউন্সিলর। প্রকৌঃ মুহাম্মদ সারোয়ার হোসেন ব্যক্তিগত কারণে অব্যহতি নিলে প্রকৌঃ মোঃ সাদেকুল ইসলাম (ফারুক) পরবর্তীতে চীফ কাউন্সিলর নির্বাচিত / মনোনীত হন। প্রকৌঃ মোহাম্মদ সারোয়ার হোসেন, প্রকৌঃ মোঃ রাশেদুল আলম সুজন, প্রকৌঃ মোঃ হানিফ উদ্দিন, প্রকৌঃ মোঃ সাদেকুল ইসলাম (ফারুক) এবং প্রকৌঃ মোঃ এহেত এসামুল হাসান হলো আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের বিভিন্ন কাঠামো থেকে নির্বাচিত / মনোনীত প্রথম কাউন্সিলর। ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের কাউন্সিলর প্রকৌঃ মোঃ এহেত এসামুল হাসান আইইএবি এর ইতিহাসে ইন্টারনাল এন্ড ইন্টান্যাশনাল পোর্টাল এর কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির নির্বাচিত/মনোনীত ’সদস্য সচিব’ ।
ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ বাংলাদেশের অষ্টম প্রশাসনিক বিভাগ। ময়মনসিংহ, জামালপুর, শেরপুর ও নেত্রকোণা জেলা নিয়ে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ গঠিত। ১৮২৯ সালে ঢাকা বিভাগ প্রতিষ্ঠার সময় থেকে ২০১৫ সালের ১৩ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত এই বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ অঞ্চল ঢাকা বিভাগের অংশ ছিল। ২০১৫ সালের ১২ জানুয়ারি প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা মন্ত্রিসভার এক বৈঠকে ঢাকা বিভাগ ভেঙ্গে নতুন ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ গঠনের ঘোষণা দেন। ২০১৫ সালের ১৪ সেপ্টেম্বর ৪টি জেলা নিয়ে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগ গঠিত হয়।
ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগীয় শহরটিকে একটি আধুনিক ও পরিকল্পিত শহর। চরাঞ্চলের নতুন এই শহরে সকল বিভাগীয় দপ্তর ছাড়াও ময়মনসিংহ শিক্ষা বোর্ড, একটি সরকারী পাবলিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, বঙ্গবন্ধু নভোথিয়েটার, লোক প্রশাসন প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র, বিয়াম ও বিয়াম স্কুল, বিসিএস প্রশাসন একাডেমী, মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশ কমিশনার, রেঞ্জ ও মেট্রো পুলিশ লাইন, বিভাগীয় সার্কিট হাউস, আইটি পার্ক, আন্তর্জাতিক কনভেনশনস সেন্টার, সরকারী আনন্দ মোহন কলেজের শাখা, শিশু হাসপাতাল, পার্ক, আন্তর্জাতিক মানের বিভাগীয় ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়াম, শিক্ষা ব্লক, স্বাস্থ্য ব্লক, বিশাল লেক, ৫২টি স্পেশাল আবাসিক এলাকা, পর্যটন স্পট, নাগরিকদের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় অন্যান্য নানা সুযোগ-সুবিধার ব্যবস্থা রাখা হয়েছে।

ময়মনসিংহ জেলায় একটা সময় ভারী / মাঝারি শিল্পের আধিক্য দিন দিন বেড়েই চলেছে। ময়মনসিংহ জেলায় বহু মাল্টি-ন্যাশন্যাল কোম্পানী / গ্রুপ কোম্পানী শিল্প কমপ্লেক্স গড়ে তোলেছে। ছোট ও মাঝারী শিল্পের পরিধিও সময়ের পরিক্রমায় সম্প্রসারিত হচ্ছে। দিন দিন শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানের সংখ্যা বেড়েই চলেছে। ময়মনসিংহ জেলা গাজীপুর জেলার পাশের জেলা হওয়ায় শিল্প উন্নতির প্রভাব ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের ময়মনসিংহ জেলাতে পরিলক্ষিত হচ্ছে। ময়মনসিংহ জেলা এখন শিল্প সমৃদ্ধ জেলা।
সরকারী ও বেসরকারী উদ্যোগে ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে গড়ে উঠেছে বিভিন্ন অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চন / শিল্প অঞ্চল। যেমনঃ জামালপুর ইকোমিক জোন, শেরপুর ইকোনমিক জোন, নেত্রকোনা ইকোনমিক জোন, ময়মনসিংহ ইকোনমিক জোন ( ঈশ্বরগঞ্জ), ময়মনসিংহ ইকোনমিক জোন ( ময়মনসিংহ সদর), আকিজ ইকোনমিক জোন এবং হামিদ ইকোনমিক জোন (ত্রিশাল)।
ক্রমাগতভাবে শিল্প প্রসারণকে প্রাধান্য দিয়ে আইইএবি পরিবারের সাংগঠনিক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করার জন্য ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগের অধীনে কয়েকটি শিল্প ইউনিট গঠন করা হয়েছে। বিভিন্ন শিল্প ইউনিটের অধীনে বিভিন্ন উপ-শিল্প ইউনিট গঠন করা হয়েছে। শিল্প ইউনিট গুলো জেলা কাঠামোর সমমান এবং উপ-শিল্প ইউনিটগুলো উপজেলা কাঠামোর সমমান।

ঈশ্বরগঞ্জ শিল্প ইউনিট এর অধীনস্ত আইএবি এর সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো সমুহঃ-

Mymensingh Division, IEAB
The organizational activities of IEAB are being carried out all over Bangladesh through 04 (four) industrial divisions and 10 (ten) general divisions totaling 14 (fourteen) organizational divisions. Among the 10 (ten) General Organizational Divisions of IEAB, Mymensingh Division is one of the important General Organizational Divisions of IEAB.
14 (fourteen) organizational divisions of IEAB have 01 (one) members as incumbents from the National Presidium Council of IEAB. Accordingly, 01 (one) member from National Presidium Council for Mymensingh division is in charge. The Divisional Committee of Mymensingh Division has been/will be formed by the presidium members in charge of Mymensingh Division and councilors selected from 12 (twelve) organizational structures of Mymensingh Division. Among the Councilors there will be a Chief Councilor. The presidium member in charge of Mymensingh Division will play the role of President of Mymensingh Divisional Committee and Chief/Principal Councilor of Mymensingh Division will play the role of General Secretary of Mymensingh Divisional Committee. The number of members of the Divisional committee of Mymensingh division is 13(Thirteen). It is noted that 01 (one) member from the National Steering Committee of IEAB is specially assigned to supervise and accelerate the organizational activities of Mymensingh Division. In the history of IEAB, Engr. Md. Altaf Hossain is the first special responsible member for Mymensingh Division from the National Steering Committee. Engr. Md. Altaf Hossain faced some personal problems and busyness shortly after taking charge of Mymensingh Division. In this case, although the first responsible member for Mymensingh Division from the National Steering Committee is Prof. Md. Altaf Hossain in History of IEAB; Other Member of National Steering Committee / President (Acting) of National Steering Committee Engr. Jahangir Alam Tushar took responsibility and organized the Mymensingh Division under his own hands and under his leadership and transformed it into an organizationally strong division of IEAB.
Mymensingh Division is a strong organizationally organized division. Engr. Md. Raihanul Islam is the first elected / nominated Presidium Member from Mymensingh Division and Engr. Mohammad Sarour Hossain is the first elected / nominated Chief Councilor from Mymensingh Division. Engr. Muhammad Sarwar Hossain retired due to personal reasons, later on Engr. Md. Sadekul Islam Faruq was elected/nominated as Chief Councilor from Mymensingh Division. Engr. Mohammad Sarour Hossain, Engr. Md. Rashedul Alam Sujan, Engr. Md. Hanif Uddin, Engr. Sadekul Islam (faruk) and Engr. Md. Ahet Aesamul Hassan are the first elected / nominated Councilors from various structures of Mymensingh Division in the history of IEAB. Councilor of Mymensingh Division Engr. Md. Ahet Esamul Hasan was elected as Member Secretary of Central Committee of Internal and International Portal in the history of IEAB.
Mymensingh Division is the eighth administrative division of Bangladesh. Mymensingh Division consists of Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Sherpur and Netrakona districts. This greater Mymensingh region was a part of Dhaka Division from the time of establishment of Dhaka Division in 1829 till 13 September 2015. On January 12, 2015, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a Cabinet meeting announced the formation of a new Mymensingh Division by dissolving Dhaka Division. Mymensingh Division was formed on 14 September 2015 with 4 districts.
The divisional city of Mymensingh is a modern and planned city. Mymensingh district, once dominated by heavy / medium industries, is increasing day by day. Many multi-national companies / group companies have set up industrial complexes in Mymensingh district. The scope of small and medium industries is also expanding with time. The number of industrial establishments is increasing day by day. As Mymensingh district is an adjacent district of Gazipur district, the effect of industrial development is being observed in Mymensingh district of Mymensingh division. Mymensingh district is now an industrial district.
Various Economic Zones / Industrial Zones have been developed in Mymensingh Division through government and private initiatives.
